Dr. Pal

Dr G. S. Pal has more than three decades of dental practice experience from both public and private sectors. He completed his DDS from the University of Calcutta and a Master of Science in Pedodontics from the University of Iowa. He then became a clinical instructor at Georgetown University Dental School, Department of Pedodontics (1968-1969) and later an associate professor at Howard University School of Dentistry (1978-1981). Dr. Pal established his family dental practice in Annandale, Virginia in 1974.

Dr. Pal has been a co-founder of many community political, professional and cultural organizations. Due to his active involvement, and civic-mindedness, he has received countless awards and recognitions. Among which, President Reagan appointed Dr. Pal to the Presidential Committee of the National Medal of Science. Under the Bush-Quayle administration, he was appointed a member of the Board of Regents, Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. He currently sits on the Board and regulates the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene in Virginia.

Dr. Alhrashi

Dr. Alhrashi

Dr. Alhrashi has nearly two decades of advanced dental training and experience, which enables him to provide his patients with beautiful, healthy smiles. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Alhrashi completed three years of post graduate studies. Advanced General Dentistry residency at Eastman Institute for oral Health in Rochester New York and Dental Implant Fellowship at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston.

During his post-graduate work, Dr. Alhrashi received the prestigious Handelman Award of Excellence from the Eastman Institute. This is a rare achievement, as it is awarded only when an exceptional candidate has distinguished him or herself with excellent clinical skills, leadership, initiative, ethics and communication skills. It is not an annual award; only two other residents have received this award in the past 15 years prior to Dr. Alhrashi's graduation.

Dr. Alhrashi enjoys swimming, traveling and spending time with his family.

Dr. Chang - Orthodontist

Dr. Chang - Orthodontist

Dr. Donna Chang grew up in Northern Virginia and was valedictorian from James Madison High School. Dr. Chang attended James Madison University for her undergraduate education where she majored in biology and minored in mathematics, and graduated summa cum laude.

While in dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Chang discovered her interest in orthodontics. After graduating at the top of her dental class, she completed her orthodontic fellowship at University of Florida and orthodontic residency at Marquette University.

After two years in beautiful Wisconsin, Dr. Chang is very excited to move back to her hometown and serve as an orthodontist in Northern Virginia.

When Dr. Chang is not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves playing board games, badminton, and racquetball.

Dr. Kafle - Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Kafle - Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Sumana Kafle attended Dental School at New York University College of Dentistry. During Dental School, she was the President of the Pediatric Club and was actively involved in community service including the Dental Health Fair, Special Olympics, Dental Van, and Give Kids a Smile Day. She received the Certificate of Merit American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Student Award for excellence in Pediatric Dentistry. She has also served as a volunteer for NYU Dental campaign to Grenada, where she provided dental care and education to underprivileged children. Her experiences reinforced her passion for working with children and adolescents.

Dr. Kafle entered the Pediatric Dentistry residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and furthered her training in all aspects of pediatric dental care.

During her free time she enjoys running, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. La-Pham

Dr. La-Pham

Dr. La-Pham recently relocated here from Southern California. She has been in dentistry since 2007, starting as a dental assistant. Dr. La-Pham completed her dental training at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California and her undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. La-Pham is a big proponent of Advanced Dental Technology. She has taken extensive continuing education courses in Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), which we are utilizing in our office! Dr. La-Pham's priority is your oral health. As her patient you can expect an ethical comprehensive treatment plan delivered in a gentle and timely manner.

In her spare time Dr. La-Pham loves to travel the world with her husband, dote on her rescued fur baby, and of course root for her Trojans. She also enjoys volunteering and serving the transient community.
